AQUATIC WEED TREATMENT DETAILS

  • Weather permitting (no wind or rain) 2-4d granules will be dropped over the top of the aquatic invasive Eurasian Milfoil weed beds on Monday, June 29, after 9:00 am via DNR permit, owner permission, applied by Savin Lake Services, LLC.

  • If June 29 is a windy or rainy day, the treatment will be rescheduled. Check the pinelakemi.com top banner or Facebook for up-to-date details on June 29.

  • PLEASE NO BOATING /PWC or SWIMMING starting Monday, June 29, 9:00 am for 24 Hours so the 2,4d granules sprinkled over the top of the weed beds can drop to the roots and be absorbed.

  • Sprinkler Systems drawing water from the lake should be turned off for three days. Every lake shore member must make an individual decision about watering, however, PLPOA has had no reported issues with drawing water from the lake after the 3rd day post treatment. This year, as in past years, the intake for most watering systems is 75-100 feet from the treatment areas.
